As a Black, queer, transmasculine, gender expansive, polyamorous, and kinky healing practitioner Syre (he/him) is passionate about working with those who are traditionally marginalized/pathologized/othered in society and underrepresented in help seeking environments. Syre practices from a liberation centered intersectional/multidimensional feminist perspective with the goal of collaborating with folx toward embodied liberation. He has extensive experience working with BIPOC and clients who identify as LGBTQA. Syre is an advocate for those exploring gender identity including transition support. He is a Kink and Poly Aware Therapist. Syre is committed to therapy, energy work and psychedelic medicine as a path toward liberation and healing intergenerational wounds. Syre completed training in MDMA assisted psychotherapy with the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS) and has a certificate in Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy. Syre is a Psychedelic Assisted Therapist. Syre is a Lead Educator at Alma Institute, Inc. in the Psilocybin Facilitator Certificate Program. He is also a part of the Core Faculty at Naropa University in the Psychedelic Assisted Therapies Certificate Program. Syre has a M.A. in Organizational Psychology from Columbia University and a Ph.D in Counseling Psychology from Fordham University.
