You keep running into the same issues and arguments with your partner. You're exhausted, and not sure where to go from here. More than anything, you want to feel connected, cared for, understood, safe, and joyful together. You believe this might be possible, but you don't know where to start, and you're not getting anywhere right now. You might even be wondering if you want to continue your relationship at all. In couples therapy, you will: develop stronger communication skills, increase your ability to regulate emotion, understand yourself, your partner, and your relationship better, get clearer on your needs + your partners needs, and if applicable, determine if you want to continue your relationship with new tools/skills or go your separate ways. As the psychotherapist Esther Perel brilliantly says: "the quality of our relationships determines the quality of our lives.” It's brave to ask for more and to imagine something better. I'm here to compassionately support the process of reaching for a better life and a better relationship.
