About

Struggling to cope with intense worry, sadness, or anger can feel overwhelming and lonely. Reducing alcohol or other substance use can be similarly isolating and intertwined with negative emotions. Recognizing that there is a problem can be the largest hurdle, but finding a way to make those changes does not have to be. You may have already made attempts to change on your own and make things better, but it hasn’t quite worked out. Often, what to do and when to do it is not clear.

In my years of working with patients, I have found that taking the first step to accessing therapeutic support can be difficult. I am here to offer you a safe space to discuss and overcome the barriers to making changes.

I am trained in Behavioral and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as well as Motivational Interviewing for individuals with problems related to substance use, anger, anxiety, depression, and serious mental illness. We will work together to achieve your goals and improve your life.
