I use an integrative approach to therapy with adult clients to help them explore and address sources of distress in their lives. I draw on psychodynamic theories, cognitive behavioral interventions, and mindfulness approaches for the treatment of depression and anxiety, and have been trained in and use evidence based therapies for PTSD: Prolonged Exposure, EMDR, and CPT. I have over thirteen years of experience working with veterans dealing with combat and military sexual trauma. My post-graduate training includes a one-year fellowship at Yale-New Haven Psychiatric Hospital and Intensive Outpatient Program and an Advanced Psychodynamic Clinical Practice Fellowship at the University of Chicago. As a former practicing attorney, I am able to help individuals deal with workplace stress and make life choices compatible with their values.
