About

Do you want help improving your relationships? Suzanne works with folks interested in healing and growing in their relationships: working through pesky life problems that you and your loved ones face on a day-to-day level, dealing with loss and change, coping after traumatic events, and promoting awareness of mind/body/spirit connections. You can try therapy with your partner or your family to learn how to grow together; or attend individually if you are wanting to understand yourself better. It can help to find a safe place to allow your thoughts and emotions to be expressed directly.

Suzanne believes we are here to learn to love better. This means resolving our differences more directly and learning how to repair the hurt, confusion, and losses suffered in relationships. Particular areas of expertise include: medical family therapy (especially eating disorders), forgiveness work, healing from loss/trauma, and power-sharing dialogues.

Suzanne is a family therapist and a relationship healer. She has practiced clinically and has been a teacher/trainer in the Syracuse community for the past 20 years; teaching in the S.U. Marriage and Family Therapy Department for 8. She now runs the Syracuse Institute for Healing Relationships.
