Dr. Klenck holds specialized training in evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, exposure therapy, and mindfulness-based practices for the treatment of anxiety, depression, bipolar and related disorders and a wide range of other difficulties. Dr. Klenck focuses on evidence-based treatment and evidence-based assessment practices, but finds the most important factor in therapy is the therapeutic relationship. Without a strong alliance with the client, she finds a therapist is limited in their ability to help the individual effect change. I work individuals 18 years of age and older on a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and adjustment problems using a treatment approach that is customized to each individual and problem. I obtained undergraduate degrees in business and art from the University of South Carolina. I received my Master's and Doctoral degrees in clinical psychology from the University of Houston. I completed both a forensic clinical internship and a postdoctoral fellowship at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans.
