Welcome! My clinical practice is geared towards supporting those impacted by intergenerational and systemic trauma, as well as Queer and Trans (TGNC) individuals. I aim to walk alongside each client as they repair relational and systemic wounds, and work to pursue healing and thriving! I view therapy through a holistic lens that recognizes the human capacity for growth and change. This approach honors the impact of how intergenerational themes and trauma along with systemic and social oppressions, can shape a person’s lived experience. I believe we can most effectively create change when we understand and deconstruct the patterns and history that influence how we have been taught to see the world and ourselves in it. This person-centered approach prioritizes the client as the expert in their own life, and draws on somatic practices informed by Queer Theory and Critical Race Theory. My collaborative approach to supporting clients aims to balance trauma informed care with healing centered engagement by working to both reduce unwanted expressions of trauma (like depression, anxiety, panic, etc.), while simultaneously promoting or renewing healing practices that support the client’s ability to thrive in their world!
