My approach to therapy is driven by empathy, trust, connection and compassion. Though there are multiple clinical orientations at my disposal, I believe the primary means of change lies in developing a strong therapeutic relationship, and carefully listening to your story. My background in family systems theory enables me to work with you in considering how multiple factors including your relationships, health, and spirituality are impacting your daily life. I specialize in working with adults and adolescents who may be struggling with questions about relationships, families, boundaries, anxiety, and depression. I am certified to treat clients with PTSD/trauma, substance abuse and addiction. My experience with addiction, both personal and professional, allows me to be a unique source of support for you. I pull strongly from a solution-focused perspective, whereby we will look at your personal strengths and past successes in addressing your presenting concerns. Most of all, I will listen to your needs and work with you to identify which type of therapy works best for you.
