I am a strength-based counselor with a holistic approach that helps individuals with building self-awareness, processing traumatic experiences, coping with different types of stress, re-establishing identity and life transitions, and seeking to improve overall wellness. In my experiences of working at a Wilderness program as well as working with Equine Assisted therapy , I realized the importance of expressing emotions, remaining in a wellness cycle, and being your authentic self with the ability to communicate in a healthy way. I typically work best with women that are looking to re-establish their identity due to life transitions. Some of the types of therapy that I implement depend on the person and their needs. Typically, I implement an integrated approach and use mindfulness strategies, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectic behavioral therapy, and acceptance commitment therapy. Each person has an opportunity to change their story and to become the best version of themselves. Any circumstance, situation or perspective that currently exists can be processed or understood to help you live your life more fully. I look forward to connecting with you! I am accepting new clients.
