About

Do you fight with your partner?do you or any family member use alcohol or drugs to excess? ? Do you have painful secrets? Do you feel anxious? numb? powerless? angry? Sad? Ashamed? unworthy? You deserve to be treated kindly and with respect. Would you like to talk with someone who listens with care and helps you find solutions? I am a warm, experienced therapist who is perceptive and has a good sense of humor. I tailor my approach to the needs of the client. I think outside the box and help my clients do so as well.

i trained at Family Institute of Westchester in Bowenian couple/family therapy.I trained in domestic violence, trauma, sexual abuse and substance abuse. I am experienced with abusive relationships, religious issues, substance abuse and am familiar with 12 step programs. i don't work with court evaluations or small children unless extremely motivated.

I am perceptive, spontaneous and active. I do not just sit there and go "um hm". Sometimes my dogs will be my therapy assistants if the client is comfortable with them. client needs determine my approach. i do travel quite a bit during the summer
