About

Change in our lives is often useful and necessary, yet also may feel frightening, overwhelming, or disruptive. I believe that forming a positive therapeutic relationship with a trusted professional can provide you with helpful support, guidance, and tools to successfully navigate life transitions. I am a licensed psychologist with experience working with adults and couples. My goal is to accept you where you are and create a collaborative relationship in which you feel respected, secure, and open to new perspectives. My conversation style is warm and gentle, while also honest and direct.

I specialize in providing affirming therapy for LGBTQ people, as well as treatment for anxiety, depression, grief, and relationship problems. I use several therapeutic approaches, including emotion-focused, cognitive-behavioral, and hypnotherapy, to help people gain insight, heal emotionally, raise self-esteem, and strengthen communication and coping skills.

I look forward to assisting you in defining and achieving your goals to create positive changes in your life. Please use the email link above to send me a message or call to schedule an appointment.
