About

My clients tell me therapy has given them insights and practical skills that have helped them to navigate life with more ease. I aim to achieve these outcomes and growth for all of my clients, whether they have turned to therapy as a short-term stepping stone or a long-term process. For me, therapy is about cultivating choice, identifying meaningful goals, and learning to a live with authenticity. Ultimately, I strive to help all my clients foster a sense of resiliency and self-mastery, so they can show up for life without reservation-in body, mind and heart.

To bring about forward movement and personal growth, I draw upon a variety of therapeutic techniques, tested over years of training and professional practice, including psychodynamic and cognitive behavioral methods, mindfulness, somatic transformation (a technique that helps people heal from the isolating imprint of trauma) and practical skills to help regulate.

I specialize in short- and long-term treatment for adults struggling with depression, anxiety, childhood trauma, shock trauma, relationship difficulties, divorce, perinatal and postpartum issues and parenting concerns. After many years of practice, I realize that much of my professional success comes from one key factor: I care about my clients' well-being.
