About

With a background in education, life certificate in school psychology and neuropsychology and training at the University of Washington Medical Center and Children's Hospital Los Angeles, I work with all ages 6-96. My unique interests include Non Verbal Learning Differences and family interventions that assist for a lifetime. Creativity, science, and disciplined application are the tools in a cognitive behavioral, object relations approach that moves the client forward with responsibility, boundaries, and wise choices.

The neuropsychological wiring of the brain, the hard drive/nature part of personality strengths and weaknesses can be modified, rearranged and adapted for growth. The soft drive/programming, is the nurture part. Our interactions, mutual understanding of styles, forms an objective framework, within which we choose love, joy, and responsibility.

Being an involved parent and grandparent, and having taught everything but second and fifth grade, including high school, gifted, Special Ed, Montessori, and university classes, I believe my style is most able to take the difficult concepts, translate them into the vernacular and work in a disciplined and creative way.
