About

Individuals have many different reasons for coming into therapy ~ from day-to-day stressors to major life crises. Therapy can be short-term for a specific concern or longer-term to cope with more difficult issues. Therapy can also help with observations of lifelong patterns that bring an unease to our relationships with self and with others.

It is my counseling style to meet clients with authenticity, creativity, and mindfulness. It is my belief that therapy can bring encouragement, positive change, and relief to those who engage in the process.

Having provided therapy to children, adolescents, and adults for 12 years, my treatment specialties include anxiety, codependency, depression, grief/loss, life transitions, relationships, self esteem, and trauma. My treatment approach is integrative, utilizing techniques which most appropriately meet the client's needs. Therapy techniques more commonly used include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Mindfulness.
