About

I earned my MSW degree from Fordham University, New York City, and doctorate in Clinical Social Work from Smith College School for Social Work. I have almost 40 years of both clinical practice and teaching experience. I am a strong believer in the power of each person to effect change in their own lives, given the tools with which to work. My goal is to help clients clearly see what obstacles impede their growth or functioning; acknowledge and accept limitations; plant their own seeds for stability and further growth, and move forward.

Over the years, I have specialized in the treatment of children and families, college students, veterans, and individuals of all ages, including older adults. Currently, I work primarily with individuals over 18 years old around anxiety, depression, grief/loss, life transitions, relationships, retirement issues and aging.

Feel free to contact me for a brief phone consultation.
