About

I enjoy working collaboratively with clients to develop goals and a treatment plan that fits their individual needs. During the first couple of appointments we will discuss the client's reasons for seeking therapy, their personal history, and what they would like to see change. I see my role as helping clients build their inner resources so they have the confidence, strength and sense of peace to live a happy, fulfilling and satisfying life. It is important to achieve a balance in life and know that one can cope with the challenges that lie ahead.

I give clients tools to understand past conflicts, manage current struggles, and look forward to their future. I use a variety of therapeutic approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and cultivating mindfulness. I also work with parents on strategies they can implement at home with children.

If you would like to know more about me, and how we can work together, please call and I can answer any questions you may have before scheduling our first appointment.
