The most common approach is cognitive behavioral therapy. Your thoughts determine your behavior and beliefs. For those who are open to it, I use your faith to assist in recovery. Whatever the case may be, the bottom line is that you, as the client, must be committed to making the necessary changes to improve your life. I am committed to helping as well as I can. I typically work with adults. My specialty is grief, but I work with all ages of adults. I also work with changes in life issues, whether it be divorce, loss of job, or move. I have a very warm, welcoming presentation. I am nonjudgmental towards the people I see. At the same time, I maintain a professional approach.
