About

I make it a priority to not only use evidence-based techniques in my practice, but also to form trusting relationships with my clients. I primarily work with people ages 8 to 21 with a variety of issues including trauma, mood disorders, anxiety, behavioral or impulse control problems, psychosis, low self-esteem, and communication issues, among others. I utilize Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, while also taking techniques from other therapy modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.

I am well versed in both individual and family therapy. I have over 4 years of experience working with families, children, and teens placed in Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facilities in two different states. I have also trained my personal dog, a Goldendoodle named Willy, as a therapy dog who is often present for sessions.

I am currently accepting new clients! Please reach out to see if I would be a good fit for you, your child, or your family's needs. Willy and I would love to work with you!
