About

How can therapy help me? What can you tell me that I don’t already know? These are common thoughts for many people considering therapy. Society often teaches us that emotions are uncomfortable or “yucky,” making it difficult to face them head-on. So what can therapy do that truly benefits you? I believe therapy is not about the therapist telling you who you are; it’s about exploring what’s holding you back from reaching your full potential.

As a therapist, I’ve worked with individuals from diverse backgrounds, helping them through a wide range of mental health challenges and trauma. While I adapt my approach to meet the needs of each client, I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to create meaningful, personalized treatment.

I believe the key to effective therapy is a strong, collaborative partnership. My role is to teach you practical tools that will empower you to move forward with confidence, creating a life that feels full and true to who you are.
