About

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor specializing in Anxiety, Depression, Addiction, and Trauma. I work with individuals to achieve emotional growth and healing. As each person is unique, I draw upon a variety of evidence-based treatment modalities to best meet my client’s needs. I work with my clients collaboratively to identify their treatment goals and, based upon need, I support clients to build inner strength and confidence, improve emotional regulation, develop communication and coping skills, and strengthen relationships and social supports.

My focus is on developing a genuine and trusting relationship with each of my clients. I strive to develop the unique qualities and wisdom in each individual and to draw upon their inner strengths and capacities to facilitate change. I combine compassion and empathy with an active and solution-focused approach to assist my clients in achieving their goals.

I have extensive training and experience in both residential and outpatient settings for the treatment of anxiety, addiction and co-occurring disorders. Previously, I advocated to improve the lives of children and families through my work as a lawyer. I believe each person is entitled to dignity and respect and is worthy of the life they wish to live.
