Therapy is a collaborative process between you and your therapist and to be effective, good therapy has to be a ‘good fit.’ I am invested in creating a welcoming space where clients can find their way towards living a better, happier and more full filling life. Regardless of gender, sexuality, spirituality, race or ethnicity, all are welcome. In therapy there is no one size fits all. My approach is tailored to fit the needs of each person and to provide an opportunity to learn to live more skillfully while also tapping into your innate knowing with the help of a trusted confidant. Working in healthcare throughout my career I have had an opportunity to be with many struggling with the challenges life can bring. This vantage point has allowed me to witness our capacity for resilience and the opportunity to find one's way to a place of wholeness despite challenges we might face or indeed maybe because of those challenges. Areas of therapeutic focus include: Depression and Anxiety; Life Transitions; Stress Management/Healthy Coping; Adjustment Issues that can Accompany Health Challenges and Chronic Disease Management; Traumatic Life events; Grief/Loss; Changing Habits or Changing Course.
