Above all, people need to know that you care, and that you know how to help them. I provide both of these, by building solid rapport with my clients, to show them what is perhaps the most important aspect of counseling- that they have a therapist who is someone who wilI truly listen to them, show them empathy, and be a sincere partner in helping them reach their counseling goals. My motto is "Anyone can be helped, after they realize that you truly care, and that they can trust in you." I provide treatment for a wide variety of mental health problems, including trauma, anxiety, depression, and mood disorders. I chose trauma treatment, including PTSD, as my specialty, because so many people suffer from psychological trauma, and because other mental health symptoms, including panic attacks, anxiety, depression, and anger, are often symptoms of PTSD. Therefore, if psychological trauma is treated successfully, these other symptoms will also be reduced or eliminated. So if you are having difficulty in your life, and you find it difficult to face it alone, I am here to help. I will be that listening ear you need, that motivator who will lead you forward. Give me a call. It may take some work, but I will make the work enjoyable. Yes, counseling can be fun!
