I help clients who have experienced childhood trauma in developing healthier relationships with their emotions & feelings. Many of my clients share experiences like anxiety, sadness, troubling memories, self-doubt, feeling numb, guilt and shame, never feeling quite good enough, and struggles with attachment. They often face issues with emotional regulation and sometimes have a fear of abandonment. Some may also have been previously diagnosed with complex trauma, generalized anxiety disorder, ADHD, or borderline personality disorder. We'll work together to regulate your emotions, explore the perspectives that shape your view of the world, learn from past experiences, & build practical skills to move ahead. Exercises may come from somatic therapy, mindfulness, DBT, & CBT. I know it can be tough to navigate our emotions and feelings, and it might feel even harder to just sit with them sometimes. While I can't take those challenges away from you—nor would I want to—I'm here to help you through that process.
