It is a privilege to be able to help people work through the challenges we all face. It's a privilege that I don't take lightly. For my clients, I am here to be more than just a listening ear. I want to ask the tough questions and help clients create meaningful, long lasting changes in their lives, to truly unlock their potential. I am seeking adult and adolescent clients who want a thorough and challenging therapy experience. Our relationships, our thinking, our behaviors (and how they all work together) are the focus of my work. My training and experience have helped me develop a passion for helping clients heal from trauma - to conquer the fear, rather than avoid it. I also work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, and most other presenting issues. My approach blends cognitive-behavioral, interpersonal, and humanistic theories of psychotherapy. I am a licensed psychologist and tenured faculty member of Alfred University's graduate programs in counseling. I have worked extensively with adults and adolescents, but I have especially strong experience working with college-age adults. Currently, I offer Thursday and Saturday appointments. Please see my website for more details.
