My ideal client is one who is willing to explore uncomfortable areas in their life and understand that vulnerability is part of the process. One of the most important parts of therapy to me is highlighting accountability and what roles we play in our own lives. I enjoy working with clients who are struggling with relationship issues, self-esteem, irrational thinking, and life adjustments. A client who can pinpoint what they would like to improve in their life and request a little bit of guidance along the way is an ideal client. Their goal is not to be perfect but to improve their day-to-day life a little more each day. View 7 Photos I can help by providing a safe space for clients to discuss things that they might not talk about with anyone else. I practice genuineness to create a real therapeutic relationship. I remind clients that they are in control and I am just there for the ride. I encourage clients to lean into strengths and confront them about areas that need work. I work with individuals who have a variety of concerns, goals, and experiences. I help clients build self-awareness and explore themselves through a healing journey. My goal is to push clients outside of their comfort zones so that they can grow as individuals. I use a strength-based approach to help empower clients, building self-efficacy and resiliency.
