I enjoy working with clients who believe change is possible and have motivation for change. Oftentimes, when someone seeks counseling, it is at a time when it may not seem change is possible. A therapist can help provide other perspectives by seeing from the "outside in". In my 22 years of practice, I have extensive experience working with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, relationship/marital problems, abuse, trauma and grief. Regardless of how long you have been struggling with the issues you are seeking counseling for, I can help you navigate through them and provide the support that is needed. In my work with clients I tend to use Cognitive Behavioral techniques and a Client Centered approach. I believe in the importance of developing a positive and collaborative counseling relationship. I strive to create a safe environment so clients feel comfortable opening up about their struggles. I am passionate about the work I get to do everyday! Recognizing the need for counseling and taking that first step to reach out can be difficult and I'm happy to answer any questions you may have. Please email me if you have questions or would like to set up an appointment.
