"I offer my clients a brief model of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. CBT has been shown to be the treatment of choice for individuals struggling with problems such as Anxiety, Depression and OCD. I help my clients replace their old habits with new, healthy means of coping." Many people do not realize how their "thougths" about themselves and their lives impact how they "feel" and consequently, how they "act". I help people learn to identify and modify their negative thought patterns leaving them feeling better and able to cope more effectively with various stressors. "I have adapted many common CBT strategies to be user-friendly for even very young children. I help them identify the "bad" thoughts which make them feel sad or worried and help them replace the thoughts with more positive, calming thoughts."
