Your decision to start therapy is a courageous step toward living a full life. I believe that good emotional health is a vital part of life and that choosing therapy is a gift that we can give to ourselves. I know and understand that the prospect of entering therapy can seem daunting. My goal is for you to feel accepted, and heard. I want you to know that whatever you are working through, it is important to me and I recognize the courage it takes to heal. I am a strengths-based therapist believing that each person has gifts enabling them to make desired changes. I work with adolescents and adults who are experiencing anxiety, depression, family conflict, parenting issues, grief/loss, trauma recovery, infidelity, and several other life transitions. I have a unique interest in the intersection between spirituality and mental health. I am a Christian but welcome people from all faiths. Prior to entering private practice, I enjoyed 20-years as a professional social worker and minister. I'm experienced with a non-profit crisis hotline, the Child Welfare and Criminal Justice Systems, creating and supporting the Pastoral Care Program of a large church, and as a trauma/ICU Chaplain."
