About

Throughout life, we may find ourselves feeling lost, unsure of where to go or where to start. We may feel disconnected from ourselves and others. We may come to realize that past experiences have shaped our worldview and how we relate to and connect with others. We may recognize patterns within our family system that we want to break, but aren’t sure how. Through therapy, we can regain an understanding of ourselves by reconnecting to feelings of safety and belonging, and instilling hope for the future. We can learn to utilize our emotions as a skill to strengthen our relationships and establish secure attachment patterns.

To achieve this, I use an eclectic approach to therapy by utilizing evidence-based modalities. I am trained in EMDR and am a Level 2 Emotionally-Focused Individual Therapy provider. I use an attachment and somatic focus, as I believe our early and adult attachment patterns and our mind/body connection are key factors in how we process and react to stressors.

I work from a secular, anti-capitalist, and individualistic lens so that I can cultivate a space where you are free to show up as your most authentic self. I am also able to provide assessments and letters of support for trans and non-binary clients who wish to undergo gender affirming medical care.
