I am an empathetic and open-minded clinician, whose focus is on helping people heal from their trauma through EMDR, parts work, and somatic techniques. I live by the standard of "more curiosity, less judgement". I strive to create an authentic, safe and transparent connection in order to bring healing energy into the therapeutic space. My goal is to meet you where you are, build trust and safety, and help you feel better! My passion is to help people safely explore their trauma and develop a deeper understanding of the impact these experiences have on their daily lives. I aim to help people develop mindfulness strategies that work for them, distress tolerance, and emotional regulation skills, to improve relationships with self and others. I look forward to helping people heal from their trauma, and learn skills to manage anxiety, mood dysregulation, stress, and interpersonal difficulties. I have been a social worker in the Rochester area for the past 8 years, primarily supporting adults, people with disabilities, elderly, and families. I am a strong advocate for equality in health care and civil rights. To help my clients achieve their goals, I primarily integrate EMDR, DBT, and parts work modalities.
