About

When I started my social work career in 2005, I dedicated my skills to provide support/relief to "those people" meaning people who experienced trauma, addiction, or other taboo topics that society didn't want to acknowledge with dignity. I have a full tool box to draw from and am ready to share these tools with anyone who is willing to learn and practice these techniques. Relief doesn't mean you won't have struggles, however the struggles will not cause your whole world to shut down.

Mental health therapy is not meant to last forever. It is most effective when it's goal oriented/solution, strengths based & time limited. My job is to teach skills, support the independent practice of said skills, and address any potential barriers to success. Clients are welcome to return for future booster sessions, if necessary.

If you are looking for a dedicated therapist to walk along side you as you grow, then I am the one you are looking for. If you are unsure of how therapy works or how to go about making changes in your life, please give me a call to discuss how we can develop the most effective plan for you to accomplish the changes you have been thinking of.
