The process of therapy is all about change and fulfilling one’s ultimate potential and purpose. My role as a counselor is to assist in the process of self-change and personal growth. Change can be scary and uncomfortable but is a natural part of the human experience and something that I attempt to make more comfortable in my counseling practice. In my practice I utilize a wide-range of evidenced based practices to assist patients with multiple presenting problems relating to depression, anxiety, PTSD, substance abuse and alcohol concerns and additional mood disorders. I am extensively trained in motivational interviewing and have vast experience utilizing CBT, DBT and REBT to address a wide variety of presenting concerns. I also utilize existential therapy techniques to assist individuals further with understanding their being in the world and how this may affect their presenting problems. Feel free to reach out to explore setting up an initial appointment. I am currently accepting clients for tele-health work. I place an emphasis on having an open and non-judgemental approach and try to make the process of connecting and scheduling as easy as possible. I look forward to hearing from you!
