About

I have closed my practice in Burlington as of May, 2024. In September of 2024 I will begin seeing clients in Shelburne, VT, offering a very specific short term protocol: Brief Parental Therapy, focused on parents of neurodivergent teens and young adults. I will also be offering brief metaphoric work. Both protocols would entail three sessions over a six-week period. I am trained in and love doing metaphoric work, thus the brief protocol I have developed based on sand tray therapy.

I believe that parenting is one of the most important things that one can do in life. I also believe that many approaches to helping parents are too complex, take too long, and leave parents feeling overwhelmed. That is why I have developed a brief protocol focused on concrete strategies.

I am a Registered Play Therapist - Supervisor, and also I am an ordained clergy person in The Episcopal Church with training as an Interfaith Chaplain and welcome client's personal belief structures in my work. I am also trained in EMDR.
