I love working with couples, individuals with complex trauma, and people who have been to therapy before and felt like it didn’t work! Whether you are a couple who longs to reclaim your connection, or you can’t even imagine a way forward, I hope you will consider reaching out. I also have lots of empathy for individuals who are recovering from abuse, neglect, or intimate partner violence, as well as adults who are ready to heal and let go of painful wounds from childhood. I believe deeply in the worth and dignity of each person and am able to form genuine, connected relationships even with clients who have tried therapy before but were unsatisfied with the process or results. When I work with couples, I draw heavily from the evidence based theory of Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT). As a part of Bellaire Family Counseling, I collaborate and work closely with a team of specialists, which allows me to ensure that you and your family get the care that you need.
