About

I have an extensive background as a social worker and case manager working in public schools, social service/ home health/ behavioral health agencies where I learned to be a strong advocate for my clients. These clients have included: chronically mentally ill children and adults, at risk elderly and disabled, children with special needs, client’s facing phase of life changes, grief and loss, life stresses. Other special interests include bereavement therapy, trauma, life transitions, spirituality, and maternal mental health.

With over a decade worth of experience in a variety of settings and with diverse clients, including both long-term and brief interventions, I provide psychotherapy for individuals, couples, families, and groups- utilizing cognitive behavioral, humanistic, and psychodynamic therapies.

There are so many changes that happen as families grow and develop with the passing years, and I am here to help with these transitions. I believe that change happens when people are given the guidance they need to draw on their own strengths and realize their potential to live fulfilling, happy lives. I provide compassionate and supportive services.
