About

I believe healing is a multifaceted process that requires a holistic and collaborative approach. I help individuals and couples overcome challenges like anxiety, depression, relationship stress, trauma, grief and loss, or life transitions. I will listen and engage with you authentically to help build a safe and trusting alliance. I use a trauma-informed and client-centered approach to better understand your unique situation and personal goals. I believe we are mind, body, and spirit and my aim is to treat the whole person so that we can live in balance with ourselves, our environment, and feel a sense of integration.

My therapeutic approach is gentle, educational, and experiential. I use a variety of modalities such as ACT, CBT, IFS, and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction. As a certified yoga teacher, I also offer somatic/body-oriented psychotherapy including traditional practices of Ayurveda and Pranayama. I utilize humor and focus deeply on the healing relationship.

I believe that finding a therapist who is a good fit is essential to be effective. I offer a 15 minute consultation to help make this process easier. I will listen to your concerns with empathy and a deep abiding respect for your life experiences. I look forward to learning how I can best support your journey towards healing, transformation, and liberation.
