About

I cultivate an affirming and safe environment to explore patterns that are causing you distress, unlearn shameful beliefs about yourself, form deeper and more meaningful connections, and heal from painful experiences. I have profound respect for the strength that it takes to be vulnerable and explore your emotions, behaviors, relationships, and trauma in therapy. A meaningful therapeutic relationship can serve as a powerful catalyst for transformative growth. I specialize in working with young adults who have experienced interpersonal trauma as well as individuals experiencing identity issues and navigating life transitions.

I have over 14 years of experience as a therapist working from a psychodynamic foundation while integrating my experiences providing trauma-informed care, mindfulness, LGBTQ+ affirming care, and DBT. I have extensive specialized training in working with trauma survivors and I am trained in Somatic and Attachment focused EMDR.

I am committed to a clinical approach that understands the impact of systemic, institutional, and interpersonal traumas. I work from an anti-oppressive lens, understanding the importance of honoring the intersections of one’s identity. Please reach out for a free brief consultation to determine if we would be a good fit.
