I specialize in trauma recovery, racial/gender/sexuality identity development, intergenerational healing, depression and anxiety. I am committed to working with adult children of immigrants and QTBIPOC folks who might be navigating complexities of trauma, marginalization, mental health stigma, perfectionism, identity and belonging. My identities: Cambodian, queer, nonbinary, child of refugees, ex-Christian. These identities inform how I move through the therapy space. I approach my work through trauma-informed and anti-oppressive lenses, using mindfulness-based, somatic-based, solution-focused modalities. I aim to create a safe partnership where you are the expert in your life and your agency is honored. I empower my clients to reclaim and discover their inner voice and identify their strengths. It can be difficult to connect with a therapist that can hold space for your intersectional identities. As a queer southeast Asian person, I understand difficulty in finding folks who align. We will work together to get to know all parts of you with compassion, openness and curiosity. I would be honored to walk alongside you on your journey!
