My name is Sophia Cree, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of WI. I find joy in being a part of someone’s journey and pride myself on developing strong relationships and creating a safe, welcoming, and therapeutic space for all individuals. I use a person-centered, collaborative, and integrative approach to therapy and strive to individualize my approach based on each client’s unique needs and goals. As a therapist, I hope to support and guide my clients to create happiness, wellness, connectedness, and compassion in their daily lives and act as a catalyst for positive change. As a therapist, I like to strive toward having a balance of being a human and a professional. I am a direct, clear, and kind communicator. Due to my person-centered approach, I empower the client to take the reins in their life while providing education, guidance, compassion, and support. I approach goal setting as a collaboration between the client and therapist. I think it is crucial to have the client’s voice in the treatment plan and to have the client be an active part of the goal-setting process. Lastly, I view the treatment plan as a living document that ebbs and flows with a client’s life and challenges.
