You're good at masking but inside you feel alone and overwhelmed. Asking for help wasn’t a safe option in the past so now you can’t help but feel like a burden when you need support. And sometimes it feels like your relationships are surface level or one-sided. Please know that you’re not alone! People who experienced chaotic or unstable childhoods often feel this way, and it is possible to heal and live the fulfilling life that you deserve. It may feel out of reach but you can grow the ability to set and maintain healthy boundaries, identify and communicate your needs, and even find compassion and acceptance for yourself. I'm a certified trauma therapist (CTP) integrating relational, somatic, and psychodynamic-based interventions in my work to help clients feel calm and more empowered to show up authentically in their daily lives. After working with me clients know what tools and resources are available to them, both internal and external. Beginning therapy can feel overwhelming, but it doesn't have to. With a warm, accepting, down to earth style I offer clients a truly welcoming space to unmask. For people-pleasers who struggle to take up space, this is where you get to show up authentically and unapologetically. If my approach aligns with your needs, please be in touch!
