About

The Vermont Center for Responder Wellness specializes in treating first responders and their families. The Center also employs relational trauma experts serving survivors of sexual violence, domestic violence, and human trafficking. We work with clients on issues of post-traumatic stress, relationships, stress at work and at home, and overall mental health and wellbeing using a mixed format of modalities from Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), restorative yoga, mindfulness and meditation coaching and biofeedback. We also specialize in workman's compensation issues for first responders.

We have several therapists with different backgrounds from community mental health, corrections and law enforcement. We also have professional peer support counselors which function as life coaches to support our first responders and our clients. Our group practice offers one-on-one therapy, group therapy, and teletherapy.

The Center has been recognized and awarded the 2018 EMDRIA ADVOCACY AWARD for treating first responders. Through this knowledge and experience, we do our best to offer the most effective and client-centered treatments available. Our scheduling system only requires clients to visit our website and select "request an appointment."
