About

Life is an amazing gift that is filled with a multitude of experiences and emotions. This journey can be filled with wonderful opportunities, hopes, and dreams. However, at other times, you may find yourself struggling with overwhelming emotional pain associated with depression, anxiety, a growing disconnect from loved ones, along with other relationship challenges. My passion is meeting people where they are as they travel their unique journeys, and creating a warm and safe, environment in which we can work collaboratively together.

I have 30 years of experience working with mood disorders, marital issues, single parenting, loss and grief, disability, chronic illness, geriatrics, combat and civilian PTSD ( trauma work with Active Duty and Civilians). My treatment style draws from many treatment modalities, including: CBT, DBT, mindfulness strategies, psychodynamic approaches and more.

My work is grounded in the belief that as human beings we can and do learn from our experiences , and we are all capable of creating positive and sustainable life change. My role is to support, and guide each client's exploration and assist in restoring hope and direction.
