I am a bilingual (English/Spanish) Clinical Psychologist who specializes in providing therapy and psychoeducational testing services for children, adolescents, young adults, and their families. My approach to therapy is individualized, meeting the needs of each unique client or family. Regardless of the approach or techniques used, I believe a strong therapist-client relationship is key to therapeutic success, therefore, my goal is to create a safe and supportive environment. Comprehensive evaluations include ADHD, Learning Disorders, Gifted Testing, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and Emotional/Behavioral Concerns. Recommendations may provide eligibility for an Individualized Educational Plan (IEP) or 504 Plan to receive educational accommodations in the school setting, as well as for standardized testing. When conducting evaluations, I utilize a systematic approach, considering the context, such as the family and the school, and not just the individual. Once concerns are clearly understood, an individualized test battery is selected, designed to assess the client’s strengths and weaknesses, and to help answer any questions the individual/family may have.
