About

I am an Board Certified Art Therapist as well as a Licensed Professional Counselor. If you're unsure about trying art therapy please know that no artistic skill is needed, you just need an openness to the creative process. I am passionate about helping individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, and trauma. I also work with those discovering who they are, navigating relationships, and challenging perfectionism. I have additional interest in those with marginalized identities and cultural conflicts.

The creative process engages the brain in a different way to access emotions and memories in a safe way. Through art therapy you will learn ways to reconnect with your body’s signals, increase mindfulness, and seek ways to calm your senses. The creative process itself can be a source of confidence, control, and self-exploration.

A step towards healing is integrating your past experiences into your present. I am holistic in my approach and address systemic influences on identity, relationships, and functioning. I create a safe place for you to express yourself and experience vulnerability. Please reach out, I'm happy to connect.
