Dr. Smith and Dr. Dickter have doctoral degrees in clinical psychology. Both offer psychological assessment and therapy services to children, adolescents, adults, and families. Dr. Smith's approach is supportive and client-centered. She utilizes collaborative conversations rooted in sociocultural context to elicit insight into the interconnection of thoughts, behaviors, and emotions. She provides treatment through an integrative lens incorporating a client-centered approach with evidence-based, psychodynamic and family system including CBT, DBT, and relational approaches. Both Dr. Smith and Dr. Dickter have expertise in conducting psycho-diagnostic (emotional and behavioral disorders), psycho-educational (learning differences), and neurodevelopmental (executive functioning, ADHD, memory, intellectual disability, and autsim spectrum) evaluations for children, adolescents and adults. Dr. Joshua Dickter specializes in working with children and young adults, and has experience treating individuals managing a variety of symptoms. Some of these symptoms include depression, anxiety, executive functioning challenges, giftedness or (oftentimes) a combination of all of these traits and more. Dr. Dickter conducts all therapy via zoom.
