About

Therapy is a collaborative process. I help my clients clarify their goals, and together we identify and explore conscious and unconscious obstacles that keep them frustrated. I utilize insight, cognitive behavioral strategies and techniques based in Somatic Experiencing to help clients work through their difficulties.

I specialize in helping people to improve their relationships, reduce anxiety, depression and self-defeating behavior. Whether my clients are navigating parenting issues, the transition from college to the work place, career changes or grieving a significant relationship I aim to create a space where clients can freely explore the depths of their experience.

I think I bring a unique blend of compassion, intuition, informality and humor to my work. While I maintain clear professional boundaries vital for therapeutic work, I try to cultivate a comfortable atmosphere so that clients can express themselves freely.
