I am Siomara Calixtro, a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I have extensive experience working with adolescents and adults of all ages. In my private practice, I utilize a compassionate, clients' strength base approach to ensure clients are feeling safe and understood. I focus on meeting client's needs and expectations for treatment care. I am comfortable treating Post-traumatic Stress Disorder, Depression, Anxiety, Attention Deficit Disorder, Bipolar I and II, and Relationships issues. My most common theoretical approaches are Cognitive Behavior therapy, Client Center therapy, Solution Focus therapy, Motivational Intervention therapy, Holistic approach therapy, and Family System Interventions therapy, depending on the clients' needs and respecting clients' beliefs system. I was attracted to serve as a therapist due to my desire to improve my community as a Spanish-speaking therapist. I know the need for these services in Spanish is often overlooked or understaffed, which I wish to change.
