About

In my life and in my practice I endeavor to replace assumptions with curiosity, and in this way curiosity drives my therapeutic approach. I want to learn about your unique experiences and perspectives and how those inform your relationships with yourself, others and the world at large. I seek a comprehensive understanding of the issues, past or present that stand between you and the change you seek. I also wish to explore with you how dominant ideas in the world impact the stories you tell yourself about yourself, and if those stories are in alignment with your values and ideals.

These questions are the jumping off point from which I seek to collaborate with you in finding your way to the life you wish to be living. Stepping into therapy is brave, and I honor your courage by offering a warm, nurturing, safe and nonjudgmental space in which we can begin to explore your goals, your stories, and the context in which they emerged.

My personal values are aligned with racial justice, radical acceptance, body positivity and the unlimited expressions of gender and sexual identity. Whether you are seeking freedom from worry, healing from complex trauma, or anything in between, I welcome the opportunity to accompany you on your journey towards increased fulfillment and well being.
