Sometimes grief can feel overwhelming. When grief is sudden, traumatic or complex we may feel that we need help working through it, but not know where to start. As a clinical social worker, I’ve worked with people facing some of life’s greatest challenges and seen them heal. I've worked with many individuals who are new or skeptical of therapy and it has been my great joy to help them gain confidence and hope through our work together. If you experienced a traumatic or overwhelming loss, I would love to provide a safe, affirming space to work through it. I approach my work through a companionship model, incorporating mindfulness and meaning making as tools to help you navigate trauma and loss. I have a warm and personable style. As an openly queer social worker with 9 years of experience, I am particularly aware of how issues like race, gender, identity and culture impact our view of ourselves and the world. Life can be incredibly difficult. It is my belief that we were not meant to face our greatest challenges alone. We all deserve care and support. I would love to provide you with a safe, nurturing environment to be truly heard. I look forward to hearing more about who you are and what concerns you would like to approach together.
