About

The clients I like to focus on are people that have challenges with executive functioning, anxiety and depression. I want to help people to identify the past challenges or traumatic experiences that could be causing disruption in their lives, so that they can address it because awareness of the origin of an issue is half the battle. A lot of the habits that we do are signs and symptoms of adverse experiences that worked in one point of our lives, but now could be problematic. My goal is to provide a safe space for openness and expression to be heard while I guide you to your goal of being healed using a trauma informed approach.

I utilize an eclectic approach, but my main treatment modalities are acceptance and commitment therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, trauma focused-cognitive behavioral therapy and client centered therapy. I am also certified in forensic and financial social work where I do brief therapy and consultations for court purposes.

If you are having challenges with focus, depression or anxiety and are ready to do more than medicate with psychotropic medication. Do you want to do the work to identify your trauma triggers and replace negative habits with long term solutions for a mentally healthier lifestyle, then you are ready to start therapy with me on your journey to self care.
